About the Congress
The congress "Children and Books in a Multicultural World" for the second year in a row brings together professionals in the field of children's culture and children's literature (researchers, educators, public figures, publishers, writers, etc.) who share their ideas, projects, and experiences.
Congress Goal
To bring together researchers, writers, readers and public figures at the site of the House of Friendship in order to discuss issues related to the development of children's literature in Kazakhstan, to arouse interest in reading and to draw attention to children's books.
Forms of experience exchange
During the Congress, there will be discussion platforms, creative laboratories with the participation of teachers and parents, exhibitions and presentations of book products, lectures and briefings.
Expected results
The organizers expect that the Congress will provide an opportunity to integrate the experience of experts to implement effective ways to develop children's literature in Kazakhstan.
