This year, this event was held online for Kazakhstani schoolchildren. But despite the distance between teachers and learners, the event was touching and heartfelt. Especially for schoolchildren of the 1st “O” grade of lyceum school No. 59 (Nur-Sultan) who completed their first academic year.
The children felt the holiday thanks to the homeroom teacher — Zukhra Kanatovna Konurova, they congratulated each other, thanked the teachers and parents for the first year of school life and were a little sad that they had to leave...
The meeting also heard words of congratulations from the Deputy Headmaster of the school Anar Dzhumabayevna Apakova, who wished children and parents a bright and productive summer.
And, of course, for us — the "ALTAIR" Children’s Books Academy — an invitation to meet with first-graders was a truly wonderful event! The Head of the Academy Jemma Bolatovna Amanzholova came to the meeting with a Scientist Cat (yes, yes... that Pushkin's seashore's cat), who "told" about books that they can take with them in the summer, read themselves or with their parents. Children thought back and wrote many books in the chat, the hero of which were cats and kitties (such as "Three from Prostokvashino" by Eduard Uspensky, "The Puss in Boots" by Charles Perrault, "The Golden key" by Alexey Tolstoy, "A Kitten By the Name of Woof" by Grigory Oster, "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, and many others).
Jemma Amanzholova also told a fairytale story about a school bell, showed the main attribute of the last school event — a ring bell. Its sonorous and loud sound informed the children about the beginning of the holidays.
The Academy congratulates all children, teachers and parents on the end of the school year, wishes them success, informative and fun summer days!
Let the upcoming summer bring you inspiration to read a book! Indeed, the summer months give much more opportunities to read interesting books than the rest.
